Top Aces Unveils F-16 in Sukhoi Su-34 “Fullback” Livery for USAF Training

Top Aces has unveiled a new version of the F-16 fighter fitted with a special paint scheme that recreates the appearance of the Sukhoi Su-34 “Fullback”, the Russian fighter-bomber. The aircraft is intended to provide advanced, realistic training for United States Air Force (USAF) pilots.

The livery mirrors the Su-34’s distinctive colours and markings, including the two-seat configuration, a feature that makes Top Aces’ F-16 an even closer visual match for the Russian aircraft.

The project forms part of the Aggressor Air programme, under which aircraft operated by private companies imitate real aerial threats to test and prepare military pilots for demanding operational scenarios.

Top Aces F-16 fleet supports USAF training

Top Aces operates the world’s only commercial F-16 fleet. Its aircraft are equipped with advanced sensors and systems that can reproduce modern threats, creating a training environment that closely reflects operational conditions.

These fighters are important to the preparation of pilots flying fifth-generation aircraft, including the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. They allow USAF units to preserve flying hours on their own aircraft while sustaining a high level of readiness.

The Sukhoi Su-34, which inspired the paint scheme, is a long-range fighter-bomber employed by Russia on tactical and interdiction missions. It is among the Russian air force’s principal strike aircraft.
