HP has unveiled the Z8 Fury G6i workstation, designed for AI workloads, rendering, modelling and demanding engineering calculations. Based on the Intel Xeon 600 platform, the system can accommodate up to four professional Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition graphics cards within a single chassis.

Its standout specification is the exceptionally large pool of local graphics memory. Each RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q card carries 96 GB of GDDR7, giving the workstation 384 GB of video memory in its highest-specification configuration.

HP Z8 Fury G6i processor, memory and storage

HP says the Z8 Fury G6i supports Intel Xeon 600 for Workstation processors with up to 86 cores, including the Intel Xeon 698X. It also supports as much as 2 TB of DDR5-6400 ECC Registered memory and up to 104 TB of SSD storage. This positions the workstation as a local AI cluster-class system.

HP has not yet announced the Z8 Fury G6i price, but says sales will begin in April.
