Xiaomi Redmi G24Q gaming monitor launches in China

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi G24Q monitor in China. Priced at 749 yuan (US$110), it is available through JD.com.

Redmi G24Q display and gaming performance

The Redmi G24Q features a Fast IPS panel with a 2,560 × 1,440-pixel resolution. Its 178-degree viewing angle and slim bezels on three sides make it well suited to multi-monitor setups.

It offers a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time. AMD FreeSync technology helps prevent screen tearing and stuttering, while Dynamic OD improves clarity during fast-moving scenes.

Xiaomi has included several gaming-focused features in the G24Q. These include customisable crosshair overlays to improve aiming accuracy, a dark-scene enhancement mode that brightens shadows without overexposing lighter areas, and a night-vision mode that improves visibility when gaming in low-light conditions.

Colour accuracy and eye comfort

The Redmi G24Q carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and reaches peak brightness of up to 400 nits. It covers 94% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 100% of sRGB for accurate colour reproduction, while 8-bit + FRC technology delivers smoother colour transitions and Delta E is below 2.

For greater viewing comfort, the monitor uses TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light technology and Xiaomi QingShan eye-protection technology, which reduces harmful blue-light emissions without creating a yellowish tint. It also supports DC dimming to eliminate flicker.

Connectivity and stand adjustment

For connectivity, the G24Q includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. Its stand allows height, tilt and swivel adjustment, and the monitor supports VESA 75 × 75 mm wall mounts.
